Gift cards
Toward something made for them.
Trunkville follows the world’s bespoke tailors, shirtmakers and shoemakers, and the trunk shows that bring them to town. A gift card lets the person you give it to choose the maker, and then the cloth and the cut. It can go toward any commission with a maker listed here, in any amount from $5 to $5,000.
It arrives by email the moment it’s paid for, which makes it a good present for anyone who is hard to buy for, or for anyone you’ve left until the last minute.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Any applicable tax is shown before you pay.
How it works
- Choose an amount and pay. Stripe emails you a receipt, and that receipt is the gift card.
- Forward it to the person you’re giving it to, or print it and put it in a card.
- When they’ve picked a maker, they tell us which one before booking. We arrange it with the maker and settle with them directly.
Terms
Trunkville gift cards are sold by Trunkville, LLC, in any amount from $5 to $5,000 (USD). The card’s value is the amount paid, before any tax shown at checkout.
A card can be used with any maker listed on Trunkville, subject to that maker agreeing to accept it; if a maker declines, you can choose another. To redeem, tell us in advance which maker you want to use it with, through the redemption form or by email. We confirm with the maker and settle with them directly. Please don’t present the card to a maker before we’ve arranged it.
Trunkville gift cards don't expire. If a commission costs less than the card, the remaining balance stays on the card and can be used with another maker. It isn't redeemable for cash except where the law requires.
An unused card can be refunded to the purchaser within 30 days of purchase by emailing editor@trunkville.com. Once a card has been applied to a maker booking, it’s non-refundable through Trunkville, and any refund for the commission itself is between the customer and the maker. Everything else about a commission (price, deposits, fittings, delivery) is agreed between you and the maker, as set out in our terms.
