About
Sartoria La Montagna is the Neapolitan bespoke tailoring house of Milena La Montagna, now at Viale Balilla 5 in Frascati, in the hills south-east of Rome. She grew up in a family of tailors (her grandfather was the family's sarto, her mother made trousers by hand), studied fashion design at the University of Naples Federico II and spent about three years apprenticed in Neapolitan tailoring workshops before opening her sartoria in 2019. A member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori since 2016, she teaches in its three-year menswear school. She was one of the 36 tailors in the first Milano su Misura – Trofeo Arbiter in 2020, and in 2025 the costume designer Sonia Grande brought her from Italy to cut menswear for the Netflix series El problema final.
