About
Massimo Roma is the Italian custom tailoring shop of Massimo Mattetti in Brickell, Miami. Born and raised in Rome, he spent 17 years in the military before turning to menswear. Suits, sport jackets, tuxedos, shirts and trousers are made to measure in Italy, the suits full-canvas and hand-stitched, in cloths from mills including Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, Dormeuil, Drago and Holland & Sherry. A first consultation, with fabric choice and measurements, takes about 45 minutes; the garments are ready in four to five weeks, with any final adjustments made in-house, where the master tailor is Hector Blake. The shop also does alterations and carries Enzo Bonafè shoes and ready-to-wear. Custom suits start from $1,995 and sport jackets from $1,895.
