About
Indian Tailoring Company is a bespoke menswear house at 90 Shankar Market, Connaught Place, New Delhi, run by its creative director Aditya Jain. A third-generation Delhi native from a textile family, Jain trained in Milan and at the Savile Row Academy in London, then went to Trinidad as an assistant to the master tailor Andrew Ramroop, before founding the company in 2019 in a Connaught Place atelier that dates to 1938. Suits are hand cut and hand tailored by appointment — Jain still takes every measurement and pattern himself and trains a small team of young tailors — in a house style that mixes British structure with Italian softness, including unstructured bandhgalas. For clients abroad he offers "remote bespoke": measurements and fittings by video call, with a trial garment shipped for fitting. He is technical advisor to the Master Tailors Association of India and has represented India at the World Federation of Master Tailors.
