The Monthly Giveaway
Each month we partner with a maker to give one reader something made for them. This month it is a bespoke shirt from I Sarti Italiani, the Palermo house, cut to the winner’s measurements and redeemable at any of their trunk shows.
There is one condition, and it is the whole point: you have to open the newsletter. Subscribing alone does not enter you. We draw from the readers who actually read.
How It Works
Open the newsletter
Open at least one issue published during the month. That single act enters you — there is nothing to fill in and nothing to buy.
We draw a reader
At the end of each calendar month we select one subscriber from everyone who opened an issue, and write to them directly.
Meet the maker
Book an appointment at any I Sarti Italiani trunk show and be measured in person. We settle with the maker directly; the winner pays nothing for the shirt.
Eligibility
To be entered in the monthly draw, a subscriber must have opened at least one newsletter issue published during the current calendar month.
- Only issues published within the current month count toward entry. Opening archived or previously published newsletters does not qualify.
- Each issue is counted once per subscriber regardless of how many times it is opened. Multiple opens of the same issue are recorded as a single qualifying open.
- Entry is determined by verified open events tied to the subscriber’s unique email address. Forwarded opens and automated or scripted activity do not count.
- Trunkville reserves the right to disqualify any subscriber whose engagement patterns suggest automated behavior or attempts to circumvent these requirements.
Terms & Conditions
The following terms apply to the Trunkville monthly giveaway.
This Month’s Gift
One bespoke shirt by I Sarti Italiani, made to the winner’s measurements. The gift changes month to month as we partner with different makers; whatever is shown on this page at the time of the draw is what is awarded.
Where It Is Redeemed
The shirt is redeemed in person at any I Sarti Italiani trunk show, so the winner can be measured by the maker. Upcoming dates are listed on their Trunkville page. Travel to the trunk show is the winner’s own.
Validity
The gift is valid for twelve months from the date the winner is notified, and must be claimed at a trunk show taking place within that period.
Non-Transferable
The gift is awarded to and may only be claimed by the named subscriber. It cannot be transferred, sold, auctioned, bartered, or otherwise conveyed to any other party. Any attempt to do so will void it.
No Cash Value
The gift carries no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other item. Any additional work the winner commissions beyond the gift itself — further garments, added options, alterations outside the maker’s normal fitting process — is theirs to settle with the maker.
Payment
Trunkville settles with the maker directly. Winners never receive funds themselves and are never asked to pay and claim back.
Discretion
Trunkville reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the giveaway at any time and for any reason. The partner maker and the gift awarded each month are determined at Trunkville’s sole discretion.
