Emi Liao

Emi Liao is a Taiwanese bespoke shoemaker now based in London. She trained for three and a half years at the Accademia Riaci in Florence under veteran Florentine shoemaker Angelo Imperatrice, and has since worked in St James's at John Lobb London. She placed fourth at the 2025 World Championships of Shoemaking. Her range spans seven signature models offered bespoke, made-to-order, and made-to-measure — each pair known as much for her warm, approachable process as for its finish.
