About
Efe Laborde Bootmaker is the bespoke shoemaking workshop of William Efe Laborde in central London. Working alone from measurement to finish, he makes fully hand-sewn welted shoes using restored 19th-century London tools and vintage leathers — a first commission takes roughly 150 hours over 8–10 months. In 2024 he was named a QEST Emerging Maker by the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.
