About
Calabrese 1924 is a Neapolitan tie maker founded in 1924, when Don Eugenio Calabrese opened a workshop in the heart of Naples making tailored ties. His son Francesco took the ties abroad, and his grandson Gaetano built the house's international name and, with his father, devised the three pleats still sewn at the tip of each tie. Gaetano's daughter Annalisa, the fourth generation, now leads the company. Besides hand-made ties in silk, wool, cashmere and knit, it makes bow ties, pocket squares, scarves, braces and leather goods.
