Ascottage
Seoul, South Korea·Suits, Jackets, Trousers, Shirts
About
Ascottage is a Seoul house of tailors and shirtmakers founded by cutter Geoffery Shin with visual director Raymon Lee. Shin moved to London in 2015 and spent some three years at Cad & The Dandy — the firm's first Korean cutter — before coming home to open his own atelier in Gangnam. Suits are fully handmade in a traditional British style in the in-store workshop, with dedicated coatmakers, trousermakers and finishers; the house calls its manner “quiet elegance”. A second atelier operates in Busan, and the firm tours Asia and the United States for trunk shows.
