What's new on Trunkville

Everything we've added for the makers listed here, newest first. Each change comes with one thing worth trying on your own page. Questions or ideas? Write to editor@trunkville.com — a person reads every message.

November 2026

  1. Ready-to-post images for every show

Add a trunk show and, if your gallery has a photo, we offer to make the images on the spot: a grid post, a story and a square, built from your own photo with the city, the dates and your page link. They're emailed to you too, with a caption to paste.

Try it: Tap Share on any upcoming show to get its images. Post the story version and add your page link as the sticker.

  2. Your monthly report now tells you what's new

Each month's page report ends with the improvements made to Trunkville since the last one, and a couple of things to try on your own page. Questions and ideas go to editor@trunkville.com — a person reads every message.

Try it: Reply to the report email with anything that's unclear. That's how we decide what to build next.

October 2026

  1. A monthly report on your page

On the 2nd of each month you get a short email: how many people visited your page, your busiest day, how many AI assistants read it, the requests you received and the shows you have coming up. One click turns it off.

Try it: Compare the busiest day with your Instagram posts — it usually lines up.

  2. Your links: a link-in-bio for your page

Add up to twelve buttons at the top of your page — WhatsApp, your shop, press, a booking page — so trunkville.com/your-name can be the one link in your Instagram bio.

Try it: Put the buttons in the order you want people to tap them; the arrows reorder them.

    Add your links →
  3. Your calendar on your own website

Two lines of code show your upcoming trunk shows on your own site — in light, dark or your visitor's choice — and update themselves whenever you change your dates here.

Try it: Copy the code from Share your tour on your dashboard and send it to whoever looks after your website.

  4. Your own booking page comes first

If you already take appointments through Calendly, Acuity or your own site, paste the link in Edit profile. Clients see it first on your page; requests through Trunkville still work alongside it.

  5. AI assistants can find you — and only request

Assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude read your page to answer questions like "who makes bespoke shoes in Kobe?" and can send an appointment request on a client's behalf. Each request says which assistant sent it. They can never book you.

Try it: Keep your story, your cities and your prices current — that's what the assistants quote.

  6. Choose how often we email you about requests

As they arrive, once a day or once a week — your choice, on the dashboard. A sudden burst of requests is batched into one summary either way, and nothing is ever booked without your yes.

  7. Clients can send you a plain question

Someone unsure of dates or prices can now simply write to you from your page. Nothing is held and nothing is booked; you reply from the planner or by answering the email, or suggest a time if it turns into an appointment.

Try it: A quick reply — even "let me check" — keeps the conversation alive.

July 2026

  1. Your dashboard in seven languages

English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Korean. The flag at the top right of the tab bar switches it and remembers your choice.

  2. Shows with only a month so far

Know you'll be in Tokyo in December but not which days? Add the month. Your page says "exact dates to be announced" and clients can ask to be emailed the moment you fix them.

  3. The planner, your clients and your commissions

Three new tabs on your dashboard: a planner for each visit with appointment times and the requests waiting for you, a private client book, and a commissions list that totals what each city brought in.

Try it: Add a client's city to their card and the planner tells you who lives near your next stop.

  4. Your ateliers on the map

Add your atelier, showroom or workshop — as many as you have — under Your ateliers. Each one gets a pin and a Directions button on your page. An address or a Google Maps link is enough; we place the pin.

    Add an atelier →
  5. Share your tour

A ready-made image of your upcoming dates and a caption to post with it, carrying your page link so followers can get email alerts and calendar links. Pick the background from your photos.
