Valente Misura

Valente Misura is a contemporary made-to-measure tailor in Quito with Italian heritage — its line is "el lujo de ser irrepetible", the luxury of being unrepeatable — working exclusively to order from two showrooms: the Edificio Soho on Avenida Eloy Alfaro (E33-50) in Quito, and Avenida Pampite at Fray Domingo in Cumbayá, opposite the Universidad San Francisco. Every commission starts with a conversation over coffee about how the client lives, then a choice of cloth and lining from the house books and of lapel, buttons, collar and pockets, measurements against the client's build with a pattern adapted to it, a first fitting, and final adjustments before delivery. The cut is Neapolitan in spirit — light, unstructured, natural shoulders, patch pockets, broad lapels — in tweeds, flannels, Prince of Wales checks and warm terracotta and tobacco tones alongside business navy and grey, with a returning Heritage Jacket line and groom's suits for weddings, also for groomsmen and guests. Shirts, ties, shoes and accessories complete the wardrobe. Open Monday to Friday 10am–7pm and Saturday 10am–5pm; appointments by WhatsApp or through the website.
