About
Timothée Paris is a Paris footwear label founded in 2017 by Japanese designer Masamitsu Hata, formerly of John Galliano and Berluti, with Pierre Rivière. It makes handcrafted shoes for people who like to walk: the Beaune loafer in grained leather on a natural rubber sole, and sneakers such as the Louviers in Italian suede with an anatomical calfskin insole — designed in Paris and made in small European workshops from Italian materials, loafers from €410 and sneakers from €360. The boutique at 16 passage de l'Île-Louviers in the 4th arrondissement, designed by Kaïs Aïouch around the idea of the Japanese engawa, is open Tuesday to Saturday, 13:00–19:00.
