About
Role Club is Brian Truong's boot workshop at 2307½ Maple Avenue in South Central Los Angeles. He learned the trade resoling vintage engineer boots, hand-shaped his own 1940s-style last, and since 2010 has built every pair himself — engineer boots, lace-to-toes and townsman lace boots in Horween horsehide and shell cordovan — measuring local clients in person. "Pride produces quality work." Waiting lists run long; custom orders and appointments through roleclub.com.
