Paolo Scafora

Neapolitan shoemaker whose family tradition dates to 1956, when his father Gennaro began apprenticing in the craft. Based in Naples, Paolo and his brothers produce entirely hand-stitched shoes using traditional Bologna, Goodyear, Norwegian, and Tyrolese constructions, and he is particularly renowned for his Norwegian chain construction and hand-painted patina work.
