KHISH
Hokuto, Japan·Shoes, Boots, Leather Goods·From ¥187,000
About
KHISH is the workshop of Ken Hishinuma, a shoemaker working deep in the Yatsugatake forest at Hokuto, Yamanashi — and one of the most decorated makers of his generation: first place at the World Championships of Shoemaking in 2024, third in 2025. The work runs in four lines — made-to-order from ¥187,000, Signature Bespoke from ¥385,000, Atelier Bespoke from ¥638,000, and the one-off Numbers Collection — alongside leather goods. Orders are taken at exhibitions held across Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai) and abroad, generally without reservation, or through the online shop; the atelier's nearest station is Kai-Oizumi.
