About
il Micio — "the cat" in Italian — is the Florence atelier of Japanese bespoke shoemaker Hidetaka Fukaya, at Via dei Federighi 6R. Fukaya trained with a shoemaker in Nagoya before settling in Florence; the house makes bespoke shoes, art shoes, and made-to-order bags and leather pieces, "freely and beautifully, like a cat".
