Monthly Gift Card Giveaway
Each month, Trunkville awards a $500 gift card to one newsletter subscriber, chosen at random. The card can be applied toward a new bespoke commission with any maker listed on our site — a meaningful head start on your next order. It’s our way of thanking the readers who make this community possible.
How It Works
Selection
Recipients are drawn at random from eligible subscribers at the end of each calendar month. Winners are notified directly by email.
Commission
Browse our listed makers and place a new bespoke commission with any maker whose trunk shows appear on Trunkville. Contact the maker directly to begin your order.
Redemption
Once your order is placed, notify us at editor@trunkville.com with the maker’s name and order details. We pay the maker directly up to the gift card amount on your behalf.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the monthly drawing, a subscriber must have opened at least one newsletter issue published during the current calendar month.
- Only issues published within the current month count toward eligibility. Opening archived or previously published newsletters does not qualify.
- Each issue is counted once per subscriber regardless of how many times it is opened. Multiple opens of the same issue are recorded as a single qualifying open.
- Eligibility is determined by verified open events tied to the subscriber’s unique email address. Forwarded opens and automated or scripted activity do not count.
- Trunkville reserves the right to disqualify any subscriber whose engagement patterns suggest automated behavior or attempts to circumvent these requirements.
Terms & Conditions
The following terms apply to all Trunkville gift cards.
Validity
Gift cards are valid for twelve months from the date of issuance. Any unused balance expires at the end of this period and cannot be extended or reinstated.
New Commissions Only
Gift cards may only be applied to new bespoke commissions. They cannot be used for existing orders, deposits previously placed, alterations, or ready-to-wear purchases.
Non-Transferable
Gift cards are issued to and may only be redeemed by the named subscriber. They cannot be transferred, sold, auctioned, bartered, or otherwise conveyed to any other party. Any attempt to do so will void the card.
No Cash Value
Gift cards carry no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or any form of monetary refund. If the commission total is less than the gift card value, the remaining balance stays on the card. If the total exceeds the card value, the recipient is responsible for the difference.
Participating Makers
Gift cards are redeemable with any maker listed on Trunkville.
Payment
Trunkville pays the maker directly on behalf of the gift card holder. Recipients never receive funds themselves. Payment is processed after the recipient confirms their order with the maker and provides the relevant details to Trunkville.
Discretion
Trunkville reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the gift card program at any time and for any reason. The number and value of gift cards issued each month is determined at Trunkville’s sole discretion.
