BABEL BESPOKE

BABEL BESPOKE is a Budapest-based private tailoring service for men who appreciate true bespoke. Its cut is Naples in the 1960s seen through an English eye — the ease of a second skin with the structure of armour — favouring higher-rise trousers, a love of the double-breasted, and soft, natural shoulders. The house is, admittedly, obsessed with cloth, vintage fabrics above all, which it hunts and gathers for its clientele. A few times a year its Neapolitan master tailor, Ettore de Cesare, joins in person to take the fittings himself; places are few and arranged in advance.
